Smart Hitch
Designed to help you tow safely, Smart Hitch offers technology that helps distribute trailer weight. It is activated through the central touch screen of the Ford F-150® Pickup to determine the approximate weight of the vertical load and reports that the weight of the trailer is correctly distributed. Smart Hitch measures the trailer's vertical load throughout the hookup process, calculating its proper weight and guiding weight distribution on-screen with the FordPass® app, Smart Taillamps, or on your SYNC®4 screen.
Onboard Scales
This feature helps estimate the approximate weight of the Ford F-150® Work Pickup Cargo Capacity. Also, you will be able to see the status of the scale through the SYNC®4 screen that informs you of the charging status when you add weight. That way you know that what you are transporting is balanced and does not exceed the weight that the vehicle can handle.
Smart Trailer Tow Connector
Get information when the trailer lights or turn signal are not operating properly or the trailer brake lights or battery are not working through the trailer activity display. The Smart Trailer Tow Connector equipped on the Ford F-150® Work Pickup lets you know if you need to pay attention to something related to the trailer.
