How does it work?

 

Because Ford EPAS Technology uses an electric engine, rather than a hydraulic pump, the steering is programmable. However, it is not dependent on the engine, so if your car stops it still has power.

This also improves fuel efficiency by up to 5%, as steering adjustments are made only when speed, road and weather conditions require it.
