It is the easy to use Technology that is equipped in Ford Vehicles and allows you to open or close the trunk even if your hands are full or you are carrying something.

If you’re opening your liftgate to pack the back, your hands are probably full. You can put everything on the ground or do your best balancing act as you try to find your keys. But we decided it was smarter to create a liftgate you can open simply by using your foot.

How do I use Hands-Free Liftgate?

Ford Hands-Free Liftgate Technology makes it easy to open and close the liftgate of your Ford SUV, as all you need to do is hold your key close by and slide your foot under the Vehicle's rear fascia for the liftgate to open automatically.*

For convenience, the opening height of the liftgate can be programmed to adapt to low ceilings or small parking spaces, it is only necessary to manually place it at the desired height and press and hold the opening button until you hear an alarm that indicates that the opening height has been reached configured.
