Rain-Sensing Front Wipers
When activated, the available rain-sensing wipers can detect rain, snow or road spray hitting your windshield, and automatically run at just the right speed. You don’t have to take your hands off the wheel or other controls to adjust your wipers as weather conditions change. And you can set their sensitivity to suit your needs.
Quickclear™ Electric Windshield Defroster
With the engine on, press a button to activate available Quickclear™ to rapidly remove ice, snow and mist from the windshield. A mesh of very thin heating elements embedded between two layers of windshield glass heats up, providing rapid defogging/defrosting of the windshield. After a short time of operation, Quickclear typically shuts off. Includes heated windshield washer jets.
Forward and Reverse Sensing Systems
The available Forward Sensing Systemtransit-connect-smart-1warns you about objects in front of the vehicle. Using innovative ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper, the available Reverse Sensing Systemtransit-connect-smart-2 audibly alerts you to certain objects located directly behind the Transit Connect when you’re backing up at slow speeds.transit-connect-smart-1 With both systems, the closer you get to an object, the faster the beeps.
