Active Park Assist
Designed to make your life easier, Ford Active Park Assist will detect a suitable space for parallel or perpendicular parking, giving you a higher level of comfort parking your Ford Vehicle. When you shift into reverse, just take your hands off the wheel and the system will guide your vehicle into space while you control the throttle and brakes.
How does Active Park Assist work?
To activate Active Parking Assistance, the driver only has to press the button located on the center console and control only the accelerator, brakes and transmission while the assistance performs the necessary movements to enter the chosen place.
1. Press the Active Park Assist button
2. Active Park Assist notifications will appear on your Ford Vehicle's SYNC® screen
3. Press the Park button or touch screen softkeys to toggle between the following park modes:
a. Parallel Parking
b. Perpendicular Parking
4. The selected parking mode will appear on the touch screen
