The amazing Ford Escape Hybrid SUV presents two options with an EcoBoost® engine and a version with a Plug-In Hybrid engine, which is characterized by making the most of fuel, through its 1.1 kWh Lithium-ion Battery electric motor and an efficient gasoline engine that offers a combined power of up to 192 horsepower, plus selectable drive modes that help nothing get in your way.
1.5L EcoBoost® Engine
It features lightweight components and Auto Start-Stop Technology* that help reduce Ford Escape fuel economy and emissions, especially in congested traffic conditions.
*Auto Start-Stop may not shut off the engine if the SUV's battery is charging, the engine is still warming up, or if you are using the heater or air conditioner.
2.0L EcoBoost® Engine
With direct injection and turbochargers, every drive is anything but boring.
2.5L Plug-In Hybrid I-4 Engine
This available engine combines great acceleration with impressive range. The Level 1 Mobile Power Cable can charge your Ford Escape Hybrid using any standard 120V outlet.
All Wheel Drive with AWD Disconnect
This system monitors and evaluates when Intelligent All Wheel Drive (AWD) is not needed. Disengages the Ford Escape rear drive unit in favorable driving conditions and uses only the front wheels to propel the vehicle, thereby achieving fuel efficiency.
