The new optional 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission is the best automatic in any Mustang ever. The 10-speed architecture, featuring Ford-patented technology, is designed for optimum ratio progression and efficiency. It also provides more acurate, quicker upshift and downshift capability. And if you’re someone who likes ultimate control, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles are included as well.

Selectable Drive Modes

This is the ultimate in control when it comes to customizing your Mustang driving experience. Five drive modes – Normal, Snow/Wet, Sport, Track or Drag Strip mode (which is new this year) – let you dial in the dynamics you want. Handling and respnse time are adjusted based on your selection. All you have to do is flip the toggle switch on the center stack to get what you want.

Real-time performance info is displayed through Track Apps® on the in-dash LCD screen. Elecronic line-lock,* now standard on all models, let you take your tarck skills even further. No need to balnce one foot on the brake and the other on the gas, or install a mechanical line-lock. This integratd system does the work for you by locking the front brakes and ralizing the rear breakes. Those back tires will be spinning and warmed up in no time.
