Environmental Grants

One World. One Ford.

Ford Motor Company's Conservation & Environmental Grants program has become an annual event in Puerto Rico. Since its inception more than twelve years ago, the Puerto Rico chapter of the grants program has supported over 65 organizations with more than $400,000 granted to date.

The program has received support from various governmental and non-governmental environmental authorities including: Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales, la Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Escuela de Asuntos Ambientales de la Universidad Interamericana, Fideicomiso de Conservación de Puerto Rico, Geoambiente del Caribe TV show and Programa Sea Grant de Universidad de Puerto Rico – Recinto de Mayagüez.

This year, Ford Motor Company's Conservation & Environmental Grants program will support innovative projects focusing on Conservation Engineering, Protection of the Natural Environment and Environmental Education. A total of $40,000 will be distributed among selected projects.

If you are currently working on an environmental project – non-profit – and need financial support, please complete the application and send it on or before May 17, 2013. (See address under Rules and Regulations).
